Dependent on source, some Volkswagen Used Cars and Volkswagen Approved Used Cars may have had multiple users as part of a fleet and/or be ex-business use. In order to meet the strict Volkswagen Approved Used programme requirements, vehicles have to meet exacting standards. ¶

Battery capacity, range and power in electric vehicles reduce over time, with use. Where these figures are stated, they are new car data for comparison purposes only. You should not rely on them in relation to used vehicles with older batteries, as they will not reflect used vehicle performance in the real world. ~

Lithium-ion batteries, of the type used in most electric vehicles (including Volkswagen electric vehicles) have a restricted lifespan. Battery capacity will reduce over time, with use and charging. Reduction in battery capacity will affect the performance of the vehicle, including the range and power achievable, and is one of several factors that may impact resale value. New vehicle performance figures (including battery capacity and range) may be provided in used vehicle listings for the purposes of comparison between vehicles. These will not reflect used vehicle performance in the real world and you should not rely on them. For further information on battery degradation/preservation and the Volkswagen 8 year/100,000 mile new car battery warranty, please see here [Volkswagen New, Used & Extended Warranties | Volkswagen UK]. Exclusions and Warranty Terms Apply. For further details, please contact your local Retailer.

Retailer details

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information above. However, errors may occur. Check with your local Retailer about items which may affect your decision to purchase.

In order to meet the strict Approved Used programme requirements, all cars are subject to no less than a comprehensive multipoint check by our trained Volkswagen Technicians to ensure that they meet the same exacting standards regardless of source. Volkswagen requires Volkswagen Retailers to ensure that information on previous vehicle ownership is correct based on the V5 logbook detail. The logbook may include the detail of the last owner only (and not any or all earlier owners), and will not detail how the owner used the vehicle. Neither Volkswagen or Volkswagen Retailers can guarantee that vehicles have not been used for business or other purposes. For further information (including logbook details), please consult your Volkswagen Retailer.
